Thanks to the Dev_Horrors community on LJ, I officially feel the need to shoot myself in the foot. :3 Thanks to that site, I've seen too many of the horrors of DA. And...what do I have to say?

Yeah, that's a little how I feel. I'm a masochist, so I went back and looked through ALL of the old posts and I only have a few things to say.

Number one. To the good people on DA, STOP being a buch of EMO ass holes, ok? You don't have a girlfriend, ok, that's all fine and good. Get some SELF RESPECT and learn to live without. No one "understands your pain"? Yeah, well, guess what? Most people on DA don't know you and don't give a flying fuck what you do with your life. Pissing and moaning on your Journal isn't going to suddenly "make them understand." Omg, this one's the best! You've got 1,000+ watchers, nearly a million page views and yet when ONE person thinks your art is lukewarm or, heaven forbid, mediocre, you cry emo tears and send your rabid fans at them!!! Dx Stop being emo, stop being egotistical and stop the self pity, you ass holes! There are people out there with ACTUAL problems, so stop being a bitch!

Number 2. One word. Inflation. This has to be the SHITTIEST fetish EVER. I have nothing against fat people. Hell, I'M fat. What I DO have a problem with is pumping women to the size of HOUSES!!! @_@ WTFBBQFUK!!! Now...normally...because of my more...ahem, liberal side, I would even tolerate that but...it's the inflation FAN ART that frigging pisses the hell out of me! Seriously you guys, STOP RAPING MY FANDOMS AND CHILDHOOD MEMORIES! *barfdeath*

Number 3. Mary Sues. *seaths in anger* Ladies, listen up, these are important words of advice. Established fictional characters don't give a shit about your little miss perfect. Now, in the SLIGHT ITTY BITTY chance you can make it work without raping the character personalities, fine. But most of you twelve year olds writing this swill don't know what the hell a character trait IS let alone how to retain it. Here's an example, my friends. Take Sephiroth from FF7. Yes, everyone and their MOTHER knows who he is and those who don't can easily google him. Yes, he is hot, yes he is strong but, and let me stress this, HE IS CRAZY AND HATES PEOPLE. Now, to the logical person who knows of Sephiroth before his fan fiction bastardization you are most likly nodding your head. But, believe it or not, there are people out there who like to put their crappy assed character as Sephiroth's wife, girlfriend, niece, daughter, long LOST daughter, etc. As you can see, ladies and gentlemen, this does NOT work. Sephiroth ( and a slew of other men you people like to hook up with) would rather kill your mary sue character than love her! see, that's his CHARACTER! *fume*

Number 4. Furries. Don't get me wrong, I love furries, even though I'm not one myself, obviously, lol. It's the select group of CREEPY!furries that I hate. for those of you who are WAY into your fursonas or what not, take a step back. you're doing this for FUN. There's no need to be at each other's throats, mmmk? Calm the fuck down or else I'm getting the tranquilizer gun.

Number 5. This isn't really something that pisses me off but it just sorta makes me sad. I was looking through a lot of the past DDs and there are a lot of shitty photos that got a DD because, as far as I'm concerned, they've got a pair of breasts. I read what is says about the photo and I laugh. The lighting is as good as a porn flick, there's no artistic anything except the breasts. So, wanna get a DD? Take a nude pic of someone, give it a border and just wait for your 1000 favs!!

As soon as school starts again, I think I'm going to take a break from DA for a few weeks to a month. I love this community and all but...there are just some royal pain in the butt drama queens that make me wonder if art is what I really want. I'll still be doing art, totally, but I think...a break would be nice, lest I find myself becoming a drama whore too.

HOWEVER, because I have some loose ties here at DA, I'll finish them off before taking my vacation from the site. So, listen up, ne?

Seeing as the last contest was so amusing ( at least to me, LOL) I've decided to hold another contest! PS, those who won the last contest should contact me with their requests!
